OKay ladies, NOW let's get in formation.

We’ve seen the power of America’s women in the streets, demonstrating to protect our values and make our voices heard.  January 21, 2017 was just the beginning.

Enlist in the Women’s Guard, a national movement of women and men committed to peaceably protecting our country’s commitment to freedom and equality for all.

As a member of the Women’s Guard, you commit to one activity per month -- demonstrating, organizing, calling, activating -- to signal that we’re not going away.  You’ll receive a menu of opportunities to speak out, and we’ll work to amplify your message and ensure the media is aware.

Why the WomEn's Guard

The commander in chief has the power to deploy the National Guard in times of peril.

These are times of peril. Our values are under siege. This is our moment to serve our country.  This is our movement.

FAQ

FAQ

What's the point?

Our communities need us demonstrating daily, reminding our representatives that they’re in Washington to carry forth our voices.

I'm not sure I can commit to one day a month. Should I still sign up?

Absolutely. Whatever time you can carve out is meaningful.

Who are you?

We’re a group of women like you who are deeply concerned about our country's leadership.  We’re experienced organizers based in Colorado, California, Minnesota, and New York.  Our team includes a veteran political operative for Democratic campaigns, a PhD in feminist studies, and an advocate for LGBTQ rights.

What will you do with my contact information?

We’ll protect your privacy as fiercely as we protect our children.  Your contact information will never be shared with any other organization or entity without your explicit permission.

Can men and non-binary persons join?

Yes! We’re committed to inclusion. If you believe in an inclusive, just, and undivided America, join in.

How can I get more involved?

We need local organizers to coordinate on the ground and match Women’s Guard members with opportunities to demonstrate.  If you want to sign up for officer training, let us know by emailing team@womensguard.org.

What’s next?

We’re in the most preliminary phases of organizing.  We’ll keep you posted.   Add team@womensguard.org to your address book to ensure you get our emails in your inbox.
